(shrugs profoundly) Everybody has to deal with Something and this just happens to be the hand I drew this time. no sense stressing over it.

I have had "digital" aids for about 4 years now. The main difference is that instead of just making Everything louder, they are programmed according to the pattern of my particular hearing loss and they try to give me only sounds I need and filter out what I don't. It makes a Huge difference

big hugs to you too, hon. happy weekend!

I have to give you a lot of credit, Alan, for all the tribulations you've endured over the years as a result of the deafness. You're a real trooper!

I didn't know there were such things as "digital" hearing aids, though. Is this a fairly new innovation?

Oh, and don't worry about the "goal" thingie with the blog. In time it takes on a life of it's own. I never know what's going to come of me until I'm halfway through writing (I know, I know... it shows).

Hugs, Bro'
