Stranger in a Strange Land is good, but my favorite Heinlein novel is Starship Troopers!
... You Grok?

I did the usual required reading for college in the 70's. Vonnegut, Heinlein, whoever wrote "Cities in Flight", but that was about it.

I'd rather SEE space operas than read them. I like seeing where the money went!

Door Into Summer is great! One of the best "time travel" books out there.

I still want one of those robots to wash dishes for me.

My favorite Heinlein is almost impossible to pin down since it depends so much on my mood. I love Job, but that kinda stands off by itself. Of his juvenile fiction, I think Podkayne of Mars is great as well as Tunnel in the Sky.

Of his more science oriented stuff, I really like Starman Jones.

I forgot about "I am only an egg." And I've read Stranger twice.

(My favorite Heinlein is Door Into Summer. It's the one I recommend to anyone who's never tried him on before.)
