When I was a tiny kid, my sister, who owned the book A Bargain for Frances, refused to share it with me and I had to sneak reading it while she was at school (I was pre-K at the time but I could read). I learned more about sharing from Frances than I did from real life.

Hi, My kids loved “If You Give A Mouse a Cookie” and the subsequent books in the series. Too bad they are older now as I sometimes see new kid’s books out and I can’t read to them anymore. I love the new look of “The thin Red Line.”

My son used to love the Francis books. We first encountered them in Germany, and were very pleased to find them in the U.S. too.
