I use Social networking a lot, but in two different areas of my life!

I predominantly use Twitter and MySpace to keep in touch with my family and college friends. It is great to see what they are up to and all that jazz.

I sometimes use Twitter to get my new Blog Posts out there. It doesn’t bring in the traffic I would like, but I am working on it!

I am not sure if EntreCard is considered a ’social networking site’ but I use that a TON to try to get my blog out there!!! And, I am always looking for more/better ways to expose my blog to new audiences!

I’m sure there is a journal entry in the use of social programming, though despite the fact that I seem to be hanging out places like Twitter, Facebook, Utterz and roaming through blogs and journals, I can’t point to one thing I “use” it for, other than just amusement, games of scrabble, etc. I will admit that some of my best, most valued friendships came about as a result of “meeting” first on the internet.

I rather like the New Yorker cartoons. This sounds like a good set. I always liked Chas Addams. A variety of his cartoons appeared in the New Yorker. He was the originator of the Addams family. The New Yorker always produces very nice collections of cartoons. Occassionally, I will read the New Yorker for the cartoons, I don’t bother with the articles. I live in New York.
