Teaser Tuesday: U Is For Undertow by Sue Grafton
After reading a whole bunch of books by Larry McMurtry I was definitely ready for something different and am thrilled today to be starting Sue Grafton’s latest Kinsey Milhone alphabet mystery U Is For Undertow. I have kind of a love-hate relationship with Kinsey after the A through T books. I am excited that it begins to appear that Ms. Grafton will be able to complete the series (whatever will Z be for, I wonder) and while I am only on page 10 or so I fully expect that this volume will live up to the rest of the series. Here then are the Teaser Tuesday rules which I’ve lifted from Puss Reboots.
- Grab your current read

- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!(make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
“I can understand how you feel,” I said. ”It’s not about vengeance. It’s about balance, the sense that good and evil are in a state of equilibrium.”
“I wasn’t entirely unsympathetic, but I was seriously concerned she would harm the child.”
Both of these quotes are from page 215 of U Is For Undertow. Since I am only on page ten, I haven’t a clue myself what either of these quotes mean, but I hope they will intrigue you to check out the book and see for yourself. As always, click the book cover image to get a copy from your local library or Buy Now $17.54 from Amazon.

Or zebras perhaps. Kinsey is very down on and judgmental against poor people and that has bothered me increasingly over the last several books.
I’m re-reading all the Grafton novels. I have to swing by the library tonight to pick up P through T, and then wait impatiently for U.
Z is for Zombies?
