About This Blog

I’m a writer who works at a library. I’m not a librarian, just a ~~drone~~ err umm Page or clerk who checks in and shelves the books. I am just completely immersed in books all day and I share the most interesting, unusual and noteworthy of these, Monday–Friday. While inspired by the mundane scanning of the umpteenth book, the blog title also serves as a metaphor for the tightrope all of us sometimes walk between making it through the day and just falling down. So I hope you’ll indulge my occasional off-topic posts when I just Have to write about something other than the latest books to pass under My scanner. Questions or concerns?
