So many book bannings don't make sense. Often telling people they should not read something makes the thing more popular. The word no is a magic sales tool for books. I don't think Tropic of Capricorn or Lady Chaterley's Lover would have done so well if not for the word obscence attached to them. The same goes for Allen Ginsberg's Howl.

We have to watch for theft more than banning now. The haters of books just steal our copies of those salacious things like Wifey by Judy Blume, or books by Lowis Lowry or Chris Crutcher. Some people just don't like to hear a different voice in the world.

I'm not American however the title caught my attention because it seems that the 'Middle Class' became a notable issue in many societies and of course the 'definition' in terms of income differers from country to country.

This sounds like a book I would like, even though it would probably make me angry at the same time.
I'm glad someone had the courage to write it; this is the kind of thing where the truth needs to come out.

My 5 year old son has been fascinated by volcanoes and space for a few years now already. He would love a book like this. Thanks for the review.

I have this book and you are right. The photographs are the star attraction. They are simply sensational. And science is getting better everyday. What you wish for will come true.

Sometimes, the idea of a book is too much to take. I'd have trouble reading this book. I am not particularly fond of the daily reminder of the Bush dynasty. There is too much about it which is disturbing.
